Physiotherapy Services
Total Health Physio provides mobile therapy services so we can work with clients in their own homes, shared homes, or aged care facilities. Therapies are tailored to the needs of the individual.
We offer a holistic approach to therapy and our Physiotherapy programs aim to improve mobility, functional strength and conditioning which typically translates into improving independence at home and in the community.
We help people with physical/neurological disabilities such as stroke, cerebral palsy, spinal conditions and many other conditions.
Our Physiotherapy sub services include
- Comprehensive assessments, such as mobility, equipment, functional, pain. We submit assessments/reports to the NDIS to justify reasonable and necessary funding for therapy.
- Falls risk assessment and prevention determine the client’s risk factors, and therapy is devised to reduce this fall risk.
- We offer brokered Physiotherapy services to aged care facilities. We become part of your healthcare team and handle all scheduling, compliance, recruiting and leave coverage.
Occupational Therapy
Our Occupational Therapists help people in a variety of ways.
We are primarily contacted to perform home assessments, where we address functional capacity, equipment requirements, assistive technology, home modifications and also reviewing current healthcare interventions.
Our OTs represent NDIS participants to submit reporting for new assistive technology, such as wheelchairs, stair lifts and so on.
A core part of our OT service is skill building, so we are here to help people with their coordination, fine motor skills, gross motor skills and so on. The overarching objective is to make everyday life easier to allow yourself and your family to enjoy what’s most important to you.
Other Services
In addition to Physiotherapy, OT and Exercise Physiology, we can assist with the following:

How we’ve helped the Cranbourne Community
Our client is a beautiful 59-year-old woman with an intellectual disability known as Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS). Her PWS causes multiple physical, mental and behavioural challenges that we are here to help with.
The client is a Paralympian and had won a bronze medal in women’s basketball. Her previous success means she understands the power of exercise in improving her health. That’s a great starting point!
The client lives alone and wants to maintain her independence. Her challenges relate to:
- Balance
- Weight gain
- Poor endurance when standing and walking
Looking at this holistically, we developed a program combining Exercise Physiology and Physiotherapy. We’ve been working together for two months now and she’s already showing significant signs of improvement.
Our Physiotherapist visits her for manual treatment, our EP has developed a tailored program which the client looks forward to completing independently.
We are impressed and excited to see the progress being made. She looks forward to her sessions and is performing her home exercise program diligently. She now walks laps around her garden (she has beautiful white roses) and lives an enriching life. What a great outcome.
We’re expecting the phone to ring and a challenge to a game of basketball, you can bet we’ll play!
